Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a Major Service to Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems for the Theatre, Paediatric, and Maternity departments at Untunjambili Hospital. The service aims to ensure optimal functioning, maintenance, and compliance of HVAC systems to support hospital operations.

Scope

The scope includes providing a comprehensive major service to the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, specifically targeting the theatre, paediatric, and maternity areas. The service involves mechanical and electrical maintenance, inspection, and reporting, with an emphasis on quality standards such as SABS approval. The service is to be delivered as a once-off contract, covering all necessary activities to ensure system performance and compliance.

Technical Requirements

• Perform a major service to heating ventilation and air conditioning systems.
• Attach mechanical and electrical drawings; failure to do so may lead to disqualification.
• Provide detailed after-service reports.
• Ensure compliance with SABS standards and specifications outlined in the tender documentation.
• Use of approved quality standards and proper packing, delivery, and documentation procedures.
• Include necessary inspection, testing, and analysis as per contractual requirements.
• Provide warranty for 12 months (or as specified) on supplied services and equipment.
• Attach relevant mechanical and electrical drawings with the bid.
