NOTICE NO:Q: DPHS.2026/07- ERRATUM
The primary objective of this tender was to procure a contractor capable of safely removing existing air conditioning units and supplying, delivering, and installing replacement systems across municipal facilities. The initiative aimed to improve climate control infrastructure while ensuring compliance with municipal asset management and environmental standards. Please note that this invitation has been officially withdrawn and will not proceed.
The scope encompassed three core phases: (1) dismantling and safe extraction of existing air conditioning equipment, (2) sourcing and delivering new units meeting specified performance and energy efficiency criteria, and (3) professional installation, testing, and commissioning of the new systems. As the advert has been withdrawn, no contractual obligations or project activities will be executed under this notice.
Bidders would have been expected to demonstrate compliance with industry-standard HVAC technical specifications, including appropriate cooling capacity, energy rating certifications, and compatibility with existing municipal electrical infrastructure. Requirements typically included adherence to refrigerant handling regulations, electrical safety codes, and municipal construction standards. Detailed unit specifications were not provided in the erratum notice. All technical prerequisites are currently suspended due to the withdrawal.
Contractors would need to employ certified HVAC technicians with proven experience in system removal, electrical wiring, refrigerant recovery, and new unit installation. Required competencies included knowledge of municipal supply chain compliance, health and safety protocols, and post-installation commissioning procedures. Trade certificates, relevant licensing, and demonstrated capacity to execute similar municipal projects would typically be mandatory. These skill expectations are now void pending the withdrawal notice.
Erratum: In public procurement, an erratum is an official administrative document issued to correct, amend, or formally withdraw a previously published tender notice. It ensures transparency and prevents bidders from submitting quotes against a cancelled or inaccurate invitation. No further action is required from potential suppliers regarding this matter.

Most large tenders are composed of tasks in a number of different fields, and it is not always possible for a single company to cater for all of them, and therefore Joint Ventures and Consortia are formed to then submit a tender together.
Government tenders are also requiring the subcontracting of a percentage of the tender work, and the trouble is then finding Subcontractors to comply with the tender requirements
To assist companies with finding tender partners and subcontractors, you can now submit your contact details and company information on this page, so other interested parties can contact you for purposes of forming Joint Ventures and subcontracting
