Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider to execute the second coat of protective painting for the perimeter fencing at the Tjate Heritage Site. Scope of Work

The successful bidder will be responsible for the complete supply, delivery, and application of a protective coating to an existing palisade fence system. The scope includes:

• Painting 199 standard fence panels, each measuring 3 metres in length and 1.8 metres in height.
• Painting 215 matching fence posts.
• Providing all necessary labour for the entire duration of the painting works.
• Ensuring full, uniform coverage of all specified metal surfaces using approved materials and application techniques.

Technical Requirements

Bidders must adhere to the following technical specifications:

• Paint Specification: Quick-drying spray-painting aluminium coating paint, formulated for rapid curing and enhanced durability on exterior metal structures.
• Colour Requirement: Uniform grey metallic finish across all panels and posts.
• Application Method: Coating must be applied exclusively using a spray gun system powered by a portable generator. Grid electricity is unavailable at the site during operations.
• Material Quantity: Supplied paint must be sufficient to fully cover the specified number of panels and posts without shortfall or compromise in coverage quality.
