Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure Pest Control Services at Richards Bay Forensic Mortuary for a period of 36 months. The service aims to ensure effective pest management within the forensic facility, including installation, maintenance, and operational support of pest control equipment to maintain a hygienic and safe environment.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Supply and installation of pest control stations (21 units) and luminous fly control units (7 units) within the Richards Bay Forensic Mortuary.
• Installation of pest control equipment ensuring secure and effective mounting.
• Provision of pest control stations capable of managing insects, eggs, and cast skins, covering the entire building.
• Supply and installation of luminous fly control units with high UV output for effective fly control.
• Maintenance services, including servicing pest control stations and fly units at least twice a month over the 36-month rental period.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• Firm and tightly mounted pest control stations capable of controlling insects, eggs, and cast skins across the entire building.
• 21 external rodent bait stations.
• 7 luminous fly control units with large catch areas, high UV output, and adhesive films.
• Compliance with legal, health, and safety standards.
• Ability to service and maintain equipment bi-monthly for 36 months.

Skills Requirements
