Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a suitably qualified and experienced service provider to design, produce, and deliver a 3D Robot Standee for research purposes at Mangosuthu University of Technology. The standee should be a life-sized, durable, lightweight display featuring the robot design with branding and logos as specified.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Design and manufacture of a 3D robot standee approximately 1.6–1.8 meters in height.
• Material selection using forex board (PVC foam board) or Correx board (corrugated plastic).
• Printing of the robot design on vinyl or sticker film with a smooth matte or glossy finish.
• Mounting the printed design on a metal or wooden frame stand.
• Inclusion of branding with six logos: MUT, DSTI, NIPMO, CIPC, JPO, and WIPO.
• Delivery of the completed standee to the specified destination, with all costs included.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the standee are as follows:

• Material: Forex board (PVC foam) or Correx board (corrugated plastic).
• Surface: Smooth matte or glossy finish.
• Design: Mounted print of the robot design on vinyl or sticker film.
• Features: Durable, lightweight, die-cut, and mounted on a metal or wooden frame.
• Height: Approximately 1.6–1.8 meters (life-size).
• Branding: WIPO-SA Summer School 2025 and six logos as specified.

Skills and Experience Requirements

The service provider must demonstrate:

• Proven experience in designing and manufacturing large-format standees or similar promotional displays.
• Technical capability to work with PVC foam or Correx boards and produce high-quality printed graphics.
• Ability to mount and assemble the standee securely on a metal or wooden frame.
• Capacity to deliver the final product within the specified timeframe and budget.
• Knowledge of branding and graphic design to incorporate multiple logos and branding elements accurately.
