| Briefing Date Details: | A compulsory RFQ briefing will be conducted at Transnet Pipelines Island View Terminal 1 (Cnr. Of Taiwan and Trinidad Rd, Bayhead, Durban) [address]. A Site visit/walk will take place, tenderers are to note: •Tenderers are required to wear safety shoes, long sleeve shirts, high visibility vests and hard hats. •Tenderers without the recommended PPE will not be allowed on the site walk. •Tenderers and their employees, visitors, clients, and customers entering Transnet Offices, Depots, Workshops and Stores will have to undergo breathalyser testing. •All forms of firearms are prohibited on Transnet properties and premises. • The relevant persons attending the RFQ briefing meeting must contact Mandisa Biyela email address: [email protected] so that access permits can be arranged prior the RFQ briefing and must ensure that the identity documents, passports or driver’s licences are on them for inspection at the access control gates. [Respondents to provide own transportation and accommodation]. The briefing session will start punctually and information will not be repeated for the benefit of Respondents arriving late. 1.1 A Certificate of Attendance in the form set out hereto must be completed and submitted with your Quotation as proof of attendance is required for a compulsory RFQ briefing. 1.2 Respondents failing to attend the compulsory RFQ briefing will be disqualified. |
