Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to select a service provider capable of supplying and delivering catering services for the Reed Dance event, accommodating approximately 300 maidens and matrons from September 11th to 13th, 2026. The service provider must ensure the provision of specified food packs and meals for the event, adhering to the outlined specifications and standards.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Provision of catering services for 300 participants during the Reed Dance event.
• Preparation and delivery of food packs for Friday, breakfast for Saturday, lunch and supper on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday, and food packs for Sunday afternoon.
• Ensuring all food and catering arrangements meet the specified requirements and safety standards.
• Delivery to the main offices at New Hanover, Opposite Police Station, 3230.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify:

• Provision of food packs and meals as per the detailed specifications for 300 individuals.
• Meals include breakfast, lunch, supper, and food packs over the three-day period.
• All food must be prepared and delivered in accordance with applicable safety legislation and standards.
• Delivery must be timely, complete, and in suitable packaging to maintain food quality.
• Pricing must include all costs, taxes, and duties, with prices quoted in South African Rand (ZAR).

Skills Requirements
