Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider responsible for the supply, delivery, offloading, and assembling of a high-density filing cabinet to support the operations of Mogale City Local Municipality's Department of Community Development Services – Social Development. The procurement aims to enhance storage efficiency and organization within the department, ensuring readiness for emergencies or disasters.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Provision of a 5-bay high-density filing system with specified dimensions and features.
• Delivery and offloading of the filing cabinets to the designated municipal location.
• Assembly and installation of the cabinets on-site.
• Guarantee of the high-density filing cabinets for a period of 12 months from the date of installation, covering faulty materials and workmanship under normal wear and tear conditions.

• Metal Finish with Epoxy Powder Coating in Folkstone Grey
• Standard Shelves and Carpeted Base on Ground Floor
• Warranty: 12 months covering faulty materials and workmanship

Additional requirements include compliance with functionality and quality evaluation criteria, ensuring the bidder's capacity to deliver according to specifications.

Skills and Capacity Requirements

• Company experience in supplying, delivering, offloading, and assembling filing cabinets, supported by at least one reference letter.
• Availability of appropriate plant and equipment, including a minimum of a 1/2 Ton delivery vehicle with valid eNatis documentation or a signed letter of intent for hired equipment.
• Demonstrated capacity to execute the work within the stipulated timeframe and specifications.
• Provision of key personnel with relevant qualifications and experience to manage the project.
• Availability of physical facilities and resources necessary for the successful completion of the contract.
• Compliance with municipal, tax, and supply chain management requirements, including registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and valid municipal accounts or lease agreements.
• Adherence to procurement policies, including submission of mandatory documents, declarations, and affidavits.
