Objectives

The primary objectives of this tender are to:

• Fix and repair the perimeter yard lighting and security wall-mount lights.
• Service and repair broken air conditioners.
• Install ceramic floor tiles and built-in cupboards at Ntangwini T/C Office.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Repairing perimeter yard lights and security wall-mount lights.
• Servicing and repairing air conditioning units.
• Fitting ceramic floor tiles.
• Installing built-in cupboards at Ntangwini T/C Office.
• Additional tasks such as cleaning water outlet pipes, leak repairs, gas re-regulation, and top-ups for air conditioners.
• Replacement of floodlights, switches, fluorescent tubes, and other electrical components.
• Maintenance activities including bee removal, septic tank emptying, and general repairs as specified.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that:

• All work must comply with relevant SABS specifications and standards.
• Electrical and mechanical repairs must meet safety and quality standards.
• Replacement parts and materials should be of specified standards, e.g., 200 W IP65 floodlights, 58W fluorescent tubes, LED tubes, etc.
• Air conditioning servicing must include leak detection, gas re-regulation, and fault diagnosis.
• All electrical installations must be properly connected, commissioned, and tested.
• Work must be completed within the specified delivery period, with adherence to environmental and safety regulations.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must possess:

• CIDB Grading of GB 1, EB 1, or CE 1 or higher.
• Qualified technicians with experience in electrical repairs, air conditioning servicing, and plumbing.
• Competence in installing and fitting ceramic tiles and built-in cupboards.
• Ability to perform bee removal and environmental safety procedures.
• Knowledge of safety standards, SABS specifications, and environmental regulations.
• Effective project management skills to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
