Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply, deliver, and offload ergonomic office chairs that meet specified technical standards and ergonomic principles. The goal is to enhance workplace comfort and support through the provision of high-quality, adjustable office chairs that comply with relevant specifications and ergonomic standards.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Supply of ergonomic adjustable office chairs with specified features such as high-density padding, adjustable headrests, large backrests, tilt and lumbar support, swivel capability, and stable bases with five or more pedestals.
• Delivery and offloading of the chairs to the designated delivery address: CEDARA MAIN BUILDING, 2nd FLOOR, ROOM E321, UMNGENI Municipality, UMGUNGUNDLOVU District.
• Ensuring chairs comply with the attached specifications and relevant SABS standards.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the office chairs include:

• High-density padding that is easy to clean
• Adjustable headrest and lumbar support
• Large backrest capable of supporting the entire back with recline ability
• Adjustable and ergonomic armrests
• Lockable tilt mechanism at multiple angles
