Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure radiography testing (RT) services for thermite welds. This includes the radiographic inspection of weld foot and web, as well as film development, interpretation, and reporting for each weld.

Scope

The scope encompasses:

• Radiography testing of approximately 1,535 thermite welds.
• Inspection of weld foot and web using radiography techniques.
• Film development, interpretation, and reporting for each weld.
• Provision of necessary consumables, equipment hire, and personnel.
• Additional services such as marking, accommodation, and travel as required.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Performing radiography testing (RT) on thermite welds, including weld foot and web.
• Use of appropriate radiography equipment, including isotopes, for the inspection process.
• Development and interpretation of radiographic films to assess weld quality.
• Reporting of inspection results for each weld.
• Adherence to safety and quality standards during testing and reporting.
