Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a reputable training provider to deliver face-to-face ISO 17021 training for 11 delegates over a three-day period. The training aims to enhance the delegates' understanding and competence in ISO 17021 standards, supporting the National Institute for Occupational Health's (NIOH) capacity building and quality assurance initiatives.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Delivering a comprehensive three-day face-to-face ISO 17021 training course to 11 delegates.
• Providing qualified facilitators with relevant experience and certified qualifications.
• Supplying all necessary course materials, templates, audit checklists, and certificates of competence for each delegate.
• Ensuring certificates are valid for a minimum of two years post-training.
• Adhering to the technical and administrative requirements specified by NHLS/NIOH.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Facilitator’s experience: Demonstrated years of facilitation experience with certified copies of qualifications.
• Provision of contactable references from previous training engagements, including reference letters.
• Submission of CVs of facilitators, evidence of SANAS or equivalent certification, course material, and certificates of competence.
• Certificates must be valid for at least 2 years.
• Compliance with mandatory requirements such as signed declarations, valid tax clearance, and B-BBEE certification.
• Provision of detailed curriculum vitae, course notes, risk management templates, and audit checklists.
• Adherence to the scope of work and delivery timelines.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Proven expertise in ISO 17021 standards and certification processes.
• Experienced facilitators with relevant qualifications and facilitation skills.
• Ability to develop and deliver tailored training content aligned with ISO 17021 requirements.
• Capacity to provide comprehensive training materials, templates, and assessment tools.
• Good track record evidenced by contactable references and previous similar training engagements.
• Compliance with all administrative and legal requirements, including tax compliance and B-BBEE status.
