Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a service provider to update and provide the District’s Cadastral and Land Ownership subscription data for a period of one year. The service aims to ensure that the Municipality has access to up-to-date, cloud-accessible spatial land ownership information, including registered layer updates and deeds ownership transactions, to support land information planning, decision-making, and support functions across the uMgungundlovu District Municipality and its local municipalities.

Scope

The scope involves:

• Provision of quarterly updates of the latest land ownership data in a spatial database aligned with the Registrar of Deeds.
• Maintenance and updating of cadastral layers and deeds ownership transactions.
• Delivery of data via a web interface that is downloadable and cloud accessible.
• Support for decision support, planning exercises, and land information management across municipal functions.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of up-to-date cadastral and land ownership data in a spatial database.
