The primary objective of this tender is to procure a complete professional multimedia equipment package to enhance the municipality's communications capabilities, support council-sitting broadcasts, and enable high-quality video production and post-editing workflows.
The scope covers the supply and delivery of photographic, video production, audio, lighting, acoustic, and computing hardware. Bidders must quote for all listed items and explicitly state the delivery period in their submission. The procurement does not include installation, commissioning, training, or maintenance services.

No specialised technical skills, certifications, or service capabilities are required beyond standard logistics, warehousing, and delivery competencies. Bidders must guarantee that all supplied equipment is brand new, fully compliant with manufacturer standards, and accompanied by valid warranties.
ISO Recording Switcher: A live production device that records each camera input separately alongside the final mixed output, enabling editors to isolate individual feeds during post-production.
Chroma-Key System: A green screen setup used to digitally replace backgrounds with graphics or alternative footage during video editing.
NRC 0.95: Noise Reduction Coefficient indicating the material absorbs 95% of incident sound energy, critical for minimising echo in broadcast studios.
COB Lights & Bowens Mount: Continuous On Board LED fixtures providing steady illumination for video; the Bowens mount is a universal bracket system allowing rapid attachment of light modifiers like softboxes.
80/20 Preference Point System: An evaluation framework allocating 80 points to price competitiveness and 20 points to designated socio-economic goals, including historically disadvantaged enterprise ownership, local economic development, and B-BBEE compliance.
