Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a qualified service provider to undertake remedial civil works related to flood control infrastructure at Nancefield Ext 8. The works include the installation and repair of civil structures such as culverts, concrete pipes, and drainage channels to improve flood management and prevent erosion.

Scope

The scope of work encompasses:

• Supply and installation of a 900mm x 900mm portal culvert
• Supply and installation of a 750mm diameter concrete pipe reinforced with appropriate steel reinforcement
• Repair of eroded unlined drains within the project area

The works are to be completed within specified timelines, with goods and services delivered within 7 days of appointment, and payment processed within 30 days of invoicing.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Provision of civil structures such as portal culverts and reinforced concrete pipes
• Reinforcement of concrete pipes with suitable steel mesh or bars (Ref: 395 reinforcement)
• Repair and stabilization of eroded drainage channels
• Compliance with relevant civil engineering standards and specifications
• Delivery of all goods and completion of works within the stipulated timeframe

Skills and Qualification Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate:

• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
• Provision of CIPC documents indicating shareholding or directorship
• Submission of a comprehensive CSD report including owner details, gender, race, age, disability status, and address
• Completion of all relevant MBD forms and submission of a municipal account not older than 90 days
• Experience in civil works related to flood control infrastructure
• Ability to deliver quality civil engineering services within tight deadlines
• Compliance with procurement and supply chain management regulations
