Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure transport services for elderly awareness activities in Vlottenburg, ensuring safe and reliable transportation from various pick-up points along farms to the venue and back.

Scope

The scope includes providing transportation services for elderly persons, specifically from designated pick-up points in Vlottenburg to the event venue and return. The service covers specific pick-up locations such as Vlottenburg Kloof Road, Van Ryn, Longlands, and others, with delivery and quantity subject to change with 24-hour prior notice.

Technical Requirements

• Transport from various specified pick-up points to the venue and back.
• Pickup points include Vlottenburg Kloof Road, Van Ryn, Longlands, among others.
• Delivery and quantities are subject to change; any changes or cancellations must be communicated 24 hours in advance.
• Transport must meet the specifications and be capable of accommodating elderly passengers safely.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

• Bidder must be registered on the Centralised Supplier Database (CSD).
• Submission of completed MBD forms: MBD 4 (Preference Points Claim), MBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim Form), MBD 8 (Supply Chain Management Practices Declaration), and MBD 9 (Independent Bid Determination).
• Provision of valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Submission of municipal statement of accounts for all directors and the company (not older than 90 days).
• Demonstrated capability to provide transportation services, including relevant experience and resources.
• Compliance with all legal and administrative requirements, including tax compliance and registration documentation.
