Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure experienced and accredited service providers to deliver training for 19 JDA delegates at the Johannesburg Development Agency (JDA) premises. The training aims to enhance the delegates' knowledge and skills in project management principles, cost estimation, budget monitoring, team cohesion, and the application of management tools and techniques. Additionally, the training includes catering services and certification of competence with credits.

Scope

The scope of work encompasses:

• Providing a 3-day training program covering:
  • Application of project management principles and theories
  • Participation in estimating and preparing project cost budgets
  • Monitoring actual expenditure against budgets
  • Supporting quality requirements and collaborative team activities
  • Using management tools and techniques to support project execution
  • Fostering team cohesiveness and spirit to impact output and image
• Provision of catering for three days, including breakfast, sandwiches, fruit salad, and yogurt, with specific menus for each day.
• Issuance of certificates of competence with credits upon successful completion.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Engagement of an accredited training provider within South Africa
• Delivery of training over a period of 3 days at JDA premises
• Provision of relevant training materials and certificates
• Preparation and presentation of a detailed pricing table aligned with scope of work
• Adherence to the specified menu and catering standards
• Compliance with all procurement and bidding procedures, including submission on the official RFQ documentation

Skills Requirements

The successful service provider must demonstrate:

• Accreditation and proven experience in project management training within South Africa
• Capability to deliver comprehensive training programs with practical and theoretical components
• Ability to provide certified training with credits recognized nationally
• Experience in organizing catering services for training events
• Competence in preparing detailed and compliant pricing proposals
• Understanding of procurement processes and compliance with RFQ submission requirements
