Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to engage a service provider capable of delivering Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Wellness Services across multiple SANPC offices, including Parow, Milnerton, Saldanha, Ogies, and Johannesburg-Waterfall. The goal is to provide comprehensive wellness support through counselling, occupational therapy, and mediation services to promote employee well-being and organizational health.

Scope

The scope encompasses the provision of various wellness services at specified locations, including:

• Counselling services: group and individual sessions, face-to-face and virtual as preferred by SANPC.
• Occupational Therapist Services: physical capacity assessments over specified days.
• Healing, mediation, and reconciliation wellness services: face-to-face sessions.

Specific service hours and days are detailed for each type of service, ensuring a comprehensive wellness program tailored to SANPC’s needs.

Technical Requirements

The service provider must:

• Offer counselling, occupational therapy, and wellness services as specified, including face-to-face and virtual options.
• Provide qualified professionals with valid practice certificates (e.g., HPCSA, SACSSP).
• Submit references demonstrating at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Ensure services are delivered within the stipulated hours and days, with flexibility for virtual sessions if preferred by SANPC.
• Adhere to SANPC’s procurement and compliance procedures, including registration on the Central Supplier Database and tax compliance.

Skills Requirements

The bidder must demonstrate:

• Proven experience in delivering EAP and wellness services, supported by references.
• Qualified personnel such as licensed counsellors, occupational therapists, and wellness practitioners.
• Ability to provide both face-to-face and virtual counselling sessions.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety standards and confidentiality protocols.
• Capacity to manage multiple locations and coordinate services efficiently.
