Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a supply and delivery of unleaded petrol (gasoline) for horticultural services at Bedfordview Nursery, on a one-time basis, adhering to specified technical requirements.

Scope

The scope involves:

• Supply and delivery of approximately 3,000 liters of unleaded petrol (93 octane) into drums or tanks at Bedfordview DPW Nursery.
• Provision of 6 x 5-liter containers of two-stroke oil (Stihl brand).
• Completion of the delivery in accordance with the detailed specifications provided in the quotation documents.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• Unleaded petrol (93 octane) as per the specified quality standards.
• Delivery into drums or tanks at Bedfordview Nursery.
• Inclusion of applicable VAT (15%) in the total cost.
• Filling into drums/tanks on a once-off basis, with compliance to safety and quality standards.

Skills and Skills Requirements

The tenderer must demonstrate:

• Ability to supply and deliver petroleum products that meet quality standards.
• Experience in handling and transporting fuel safely and in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Capacity to provide the required quantity within the specified timeframe.
• Provision of necessary documentation, such as licenses for petroleum products (wholesale or retail licenses), and compliance with the Petroleum Products Act, 1977.
• Adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards during delivery and handling.
