Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to provide a service for the maintenance of Air Handling Units (AHUs), specifically focusing on minor servicing of air conditioning units with DX coils. The service aims to ensure the proper functioning, safety, and efficiency of the air conditioning systems through routine inspections, checks, and necessary repairs or replacements.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Performing preventive maintenance on air conditioning units (DX coils).
• Conducting routine checks such as noise, vibration, loose components, refrigerant leaks, drive components, and filters.
• Replacing or repairing worn or faulty parts as identified during inspections.
• Completing maintenance checklists and documenting findings.
• Providing necessary spares, repairs, and associated materials.
• Ensuring safety devices and controls are operational.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that the service provider must:

• Carry out a comprehensive checklist including noise, vibration, loose components, refrigerant leaks, wear of bearings, belt tension, safety guards, and filters.
• Supply and manage spares, with quantities and descriptions documented.
• Perform repairs within estimated timeframes.
• Ensure all controls and safety devices are functioning correctly.
• Complete documentation including sign-offs, dates, and remarks.

Skills Requirements

The skills required for the service provider include:

• Technical expertise in HVAC systems, particularly air conditioning units with DX coils.
