Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP) and Employee Wellness, Medical Services, Occupational Health and Safety

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the services of a qualified professional Employee Assistance Practitioner (EAP) to provide confidential, short-term counseling and support to Knysna Municipality staff on an ad hoc basis. The program aims to assist employees facing mental health issues, substance abuse, trauma, and work-life balance challenges, thereby improving employee well-being and organizational productivity.
The scope includes providing face-to-face Employee Assistance Program services within the Knysna area. The service provider must respond immediately to service requests, conduct sessions in isiXhosa, English, and Afrikaans, and submit proof of attendance within one week of each session. The program covers staff across various municipal disciplines exposed to traumatic incidents or personal challenges affecting their job performance.
The service provider must have professionals with the following qualifications and memberships:
