Objectives

The primary objective is to procure and deliver complete soccer and netball kits to serve as official prizes for ward-level tournaments under the Mayoral Cup initiative. Scope

• Product Standards: Kits must meet standard quality specifications for sports apparel, ensuring durability, appropriate sizing, and compliance with general safety and material standards.
• Contractual Compliance: The procurement is governed by standardized municipal conditions, mandating adherence to inspection protocols, secure packing standards, delivery terms, insurance coverage, and a twelve-month warranty period following delivery acceptance.
• Evaluation Criteria: Bids will be assessed using an 80/20 or 90/10 preference point system, allocating up to 10 points for specific socio-economic goals such as black ownership levels and local enterprise location. Price accounts for the remaining points.
• Submission Rules: Late quotations will not be accepted. Bids must be physically deposited in the designated municipal tender box before the stipulated closing time.
