Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a Spill Kit and Loud Hailer for the KwaMashu Community Health Centre (CHC) to ensure safety and effective management of spillages and communication during emergencies.

Scope

The scope includes the supply, delivery, and possibly the installation or commissioning of the following items:

• Spill kits suitable for generator rooms and fuel oil spills, including specified components such as wheelie bins, absorbents, socks, brooms, gloves, goggles, refuse bags, and manuals.
• Loud hailers for communication purposes.

The items must meet the detailed specifications provided, including quality standards (e.g., SABS) and compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

Technical Requirements

• Spill kits must include specified components such as 240 Lt wheelie bins, bio-absorbent scatter, absorbent pads, socks, brooms, shovels, gloves, goggles, refuse bags, and user manuals.
• Spill kits should be of high quality, conforming to SABS standards, and suitable for handling fuel oil spills in generator rooms.
• Items must be packaged appropriately for transport and storage, with clear labeling and documentation.
• Delivery must be made to the specified address (P61 Mkhwane Road, KwaMashu) in accordance with the agreed schedule.
• Items such as loud hailers must meet the detailed specifications, including size, durability, and operational standards.
• All items must be new, unused, and of the latest models, with warranties as specified.

Skills Requirements

• Bidder must demonstrate technical capability to supply spill management and communication equipment that meets safety standards.
• Ability to provide technical documentation, user manuals, and after-sales support.
• Experience in supplying safety and communication equipment to healthcare or similar institutions.
• Compliance with quality standards such as SABS and adherence to environmental safety protocols.
• Capacity to deliver within the specified timeframe and handle logistics efficiently.
