Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure and deliver four ergonomic chairs to the National Health Laboratory Service (NHLS) Cala Lab facility. All quotations must be submitted in South African Rand (ZAR), with Value Added Tax (VAT) excluded from unit prices but applied at 15% to the final total. Quoted prices remain fixed for the contract duration unless adjusted per contractual provisions.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of four functional ergonomic chairs suitable for laboratory/office environments.
• Submission of a completed pricing schedule detailing unit prices, totals excluding VAT, VAT at 15%, and grand totals inclusive of VAT.
• Strict adherence to the National Treasury’s General Conditions of Contract (GCC).

• Mandatory administrative compliance documentation, including a valid Tax Clearance Certificate or PIN, Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration number, fully completed and signed RFQ documents, and proof of Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) status or a sworn affidavit.
• Acceptance of NHLS rights to conduct due diligence and benchmark quoted prices.
• No goods or services may be delivered prior to receipt of an official NHLS Purchase Order.
