Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a supplier capable of providing and delivering electrical materials to St Chads Community Health Centre (CHC) in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The aim is to ensure a reliable supply of electrical consumables and equipment necessary for maintenance and operational needs.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of electrical materials as specified in the detailed specifications, including various electrical components, fittings, tools, and accessories required by the health facility. The procurement covers items listed in the detailed specifications and includes the provision of related services such as delivery, inspection, and compliance with standards.

Technical Requirements

• Supply and delivery of electrical materials as per attached specifications, including items like fluorescent tubes, LED lights, circuit breakers, wiring, switches, and tools.
• Items must conform to SABS or SANS approved standards.
• Delivery must be completed within 7 days of order receipt.
• All items must be new, unused, and of the latest models with recent design improvements.
• Suppliers must provide samples if required and ensure items meet quality standards specified.
• Items must be properly packed to prevent damage during transit.
• Pricing must be firm and inclusive of delivery costs and VAT (if applicable).
• Suppliers must comply with all relevant health, safety, and procurement standards.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in supplying electrical materials to healthcare or similar institutions.
• Ability to meet technical specifications and quality standards.
