The primary objective is to secure a reliable supplier capable of providing essential emergency medical equipment and consumables to Ladysmith Regional Hospital. Scope

The tender covers a one-time supply and delivery of the following emergency trolley items:

• Conductive Gel (500ml)
• Infant/Paediatric Intercostal Drains (10 units)
• Vein Detectors (15 boxes)
• Tourniquets (50 units)
• Elastic Gum Bougies (1 box containing 100 units)

Delivery must be made directly to the hospital’s designated location. The contract is structured as a single-award quotation valid for ninety days, with pricing required to be firm and inclusive of all taxes and freight costs.

Technical Requirements

• All supplied goods must be brand new, unused, and conform to current manufacturing models.
• Products must meet South African Bureau of Standards (SABS/SANS) specifications where applicable.
• Medical devices require valid licensing from the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA).
• All items must possess a minimum shelf life of six months upon delivery.
• Quotations must remain valid for ninety days, and successful bidders will be subject to a twelve-month warranty from acceptance or eighteen months from shipment, whichever occurs first.
• Delivery timelines specified by the bidder will be contractually binding, with penalties applied for delays.
• Performance security may be requested within thirty days of contract award.
