Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure and supply emergency trolley items to Ladysmith Regional Hospital, ensuring timely delivery of specified medical equipment and consumables to support emergency healthcare services.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of various emergency trolley items as detailed in the quotation, including infusion pumps, conductive gels, infant drains, vein detectors, stethoscopes, tourniquets, elastic gum bougies, and other specified medical devices. The procurement covers items listed in the ICN item schedule, with quantities as per the quotation price page, to be delivered once at Ladysmith Regional Hospital within the contract period.

Technical Requirements

• Items must conform to the specifications provided in Annexure A, including size, material, and quality standards.
• All products must meet relevant standards such as SABS, ISO, or SAHPRA approval where specified.
• Items should be new, unused, and of the latest models with recent design improvements.
• Proper packaging to prevent damage during transit, with clear markings and documentation.
• Delivery must be in accordance with the specified terms, including timely submission of all required documents.
• Suppliers must provide samples if required and ensure compliance with all technical specifications.
• Items must be delivered to the specified address at Ladysmith Regional Hospital, with adherence to the delivery schedule.

Skills Requirements
