Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a service provider to supply and deliver ergonomic laboratory chairs to the Cytology Department in Bloemfontein. The goal is to ensure the department is equipped with suitable ergonomic seating to support laboratory activities.

Scope

The scope of work includes the supply and delivery of 15 ergonomic laboratory chairs to the Cytology Department in Bloemfontein. The contract is a one-time, project-specific engagement with the successful bidder responsible for providing chairs that meet the specified technical and quality standards.

Technical Requirements

• The chairs must be ergonomic and suitable for laboratory use.
• Provision of detailed specifications and compliance documentation, including brochures or catalogues referencing the product number or item number.
• The chairs should be delivered in accordance with the specifications, including a picture of the chairs as provided in the tender.
• Complete specification sheets must be submitted, demonstrating compliance with the technical standards.
• Work experience in similar projects over the past five years, supported by client reference letters.
• Provision of CVs for three resources (2x SCM Consultants and 1x Project Manager) involved in the project.

Skills Requirements

• Experience in supply chain management, specifically in providing laboratory furniture or similar equipment.
• Capability to prepare and execute a project plan outlining methodology, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Ability to demonstrate technical compliance and provide relevant documentation and brochures.
• Experience in delivering similar contracts, supported by client references and letters of good standing.
• Qualified personnel with appropriate CVs and references to support technical and project management roles.
