Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the supply and delivery of submersible pump material to Ugu District Municipality, ensuring the provision of quality goods that meet specified technical standards and delivery timelines.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of submersible pump materials operating at 600/1000V voltage specifications. The materials are to be supplied and delivered as per the specifications outlined in the tender documents, with the delivery to be made promptly after receipt of an order.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of submersible pump materials suitable for 600/1000V applications.
• Delivery to Ugu District Municipality at 96 Marine Drive, Phase 3, Oslo Beach.
• Completion of delivery within the stipulated days after receipt of an order.
• All bids must be submitted on official forms and include all required supporting documents.
• Adherence to the general conditions of the contract and any applicable special conditions.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

• Demonstrated capability to supply and deliver submersible pump materials that meet technical specifications.
• Provision of valid tax compliance documentation, including VAT registration and tax compliance status.
• Completion of all mandatory forms, including declarations of interest, past supply chain practices, and preference claim forms.
• Experience in handling municipal procurement processes and adherence to supply chain management regulations.
• Ability to provide certified copies of supporting documents such as ownership, local business promotion, and specific goal achievements (e.g., youth, women, disabled status).
• Knowledge of the procurement policies and regulations applicable under the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022.
