The primary objective of this tender is to procure a reliable supplier for the one-off provision of medical-grade paper sterilization reels. Scope

The scope covers the supply and delivery of two hundred (200) rolls of 150mm paper sterilization reels to Victoria Mxenge Hospital in the KwaZulu-Natal province. Technical Requirements

• Product: Paper Sterilization Reel / Heat-Seal Steri, 150mm width.

• Sealing & Indicators: Factory 3-side sealed reel permitting users to cut custom lengths and heat-seal both ends. Must incorporate 2 or 3 chemical indicator lines using lead-free, non-toxic ink that changes colour during sterilization (pink to brown-black for steam; yellow to brown for FORM).
• Performance Metrics: Clean peel without fibre tear or delamination; minimum seal strength of 1.5 N/15mm (validated per ASTM F88); paper wet strength exceeding 40kPa and dry burst strength above 200 kPa.
• Quality Standards: Full compliance with ISO 11607-1, EN 868-8:2018, DIN 58953-7, and ISO 11140-1 for sterilization indicators.
• Delivery & Packaging: Supplied in roll units. All delivery costs must be embedded in the quoted price. Products must be new, unused, and possess a minimum shelf-life validity of six months upon delivery.
