Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver plumbing materials, specifically painting materials, to Ladysmith Regional Hospital. The aim is to procure quality painting supplies to facilitate maintenance and repair works within the hospital premises, ensuring compliance with specified standards and specifications.

Scope

The scope encompasses the provision of a comprehensive range of painting materials and related supplies, including primers, enamels, thinners, road marking paints, putty, spray paints, rollers, brushes, and other accessories. The materials must meet the detailed specifications provided, be delivered to Ladysmith Regional Hospital, and conform to the relevant standards and quality requirements. The contract period is once-off delivery, with the possibility of additional related supplies as specified in the annexure.

Technical Requirements

• All supplied materials must conform to the specifications outlined in the annexure, including sizes, colors, and materials.
• Items must meet the quality standards specified, including compliance with SABS or SANS approvals where applicable.
• Samples may be required for certain items, and suppliers must provide these upon request.
• Delivery must be made in accordance with the specified delivery schedule, ensuring timely and complete delivery to the designated site.
• All packaging must prevent damage during transit and storage, with proper marking and documentation.
• Suppliers must provide necessary documentation such as invoices, certificates of compliance, and technical data sheets.
• Suppliers must adhere to the procurement policies, including VAT compliance and declaration of interests.
