Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the supply and delivery of festival lighting to Mossel Bay Municipality. The aim is to ensure the provision of appropriate lighting for festival events, meeting specified technical standards and requirements.

Scope

The scope includes the provision of various lighting components such as silicon conductors, flashing controllers, supply leads, rope lights, lamp holders, and bulbs, to be delivered to the Municipal Electrical Workshop in Mossel Bay. The items are specified with quantities and technical specifications, and the successful bidder must supply and deliver these items within the stipulated timeframe.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of silicon conductors, flashing controllers (13mm, minimum 500W and 250W capacities), and supply leads with connectors.
• Provision of heat-shrink joints, end caps, and moisture-proof lamp holders with necessary seals.
• Supply of LED bulbs (Golf ball type, 0.5W, blue and white/frosted), compatible with specified lamp holders.
• Rope lights (2-wire, 13mm diameter) in various colors (red, orange, yellow, purple, blue), operating directly from 230V supply, with specified quantities.
• All items must meet the specifications outlined in the tender document, including compliance with safety, durability, and operational standards.
• Items should be delivered to the Electrical Workshop in Mossel Bay within four weeks of order placement.
