Objectives

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of various safety shoes, including ladies and men's safety boots with steel caps in multiple sizes and colors (brown or black). The procurement covers both Ladies Safety Boots (sizes 3 to 7) and Mens Safety Boots (sizes 5 to 11), with detailed quantities and pricing outlined in the pricing summary. The delivery is to be made to the Knysna Municipality, adhering to the specified conditions and deadlines.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of Ladies Safety Boots with Steel Cap in sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, in brown or black, from brands such as Lemaitre or similar.
• Supply of Mens Safety Boots with Steel Cap in sizes 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11, in brown or black, from brands such as Lemaitre or similar.
• All safety shoes must be new, unused, and conform to relevant safety standards, incorporating recent design and material improvements.
• Suppliers must provide detailed cost breakdowns, unit prices, and total prices, including VAT.
• Suppliers must be registered and compliant with the municipality’s procurement policies, including tax and B-BBEE verification.
• Delivery must be completed within the validity period of 90 days from the date of bid submission.
• All bids must include necessary documentation such as tax clearance certificates, B-BBEE certificates, municipal accounts, and declarations of interest.
• Suppliers are expected to adhere to the general conditions of contract, including quality assurance, inspection, and testing requirements.
