Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the supply and delivery of various valves, including air valves, gate valves, brass non-return valves, ball valves, wedge gate valves, and control valves, to Ugu District Municipality. The aim is to ensure the municipality's infrastructure needs are met with quality products delivered in a timely manner.

Scope

The scope encompasses the procurement of specified valves as detailed in the requisition, including quantities and specifications, for delivery to Park Rynie Stores at Preston Road. The scope also covers the submission of sealed bids, adherence to procurement policies, and compliance with technical and administrative requirements.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of various valves with specified sizes and types, such as 20mm air valves, 25mm air valves, gate valves, brass non-return valves, ball valves, wedge gate valves, and control valves.
• Delivery to Park Rynie Stores, Preston Road, within a specified timeframe after receipt of an order.
• Bid submissions must be sealed, endorsed with the requisition number REQ26359, and submitted by the deadline of 12h00 on 18 June 2026.
• All bids must be complete, valid for 30 days, and comply with the conditions outlined in the tender documents.
• Adherence to the municipality’s procurement policies, including the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022.
