The primary objective of this tender is to procure a service for the supply and installation of an air horn with cabinet at St Marys Marianhill Hospital. The purpose of the equipment is to provide an effective alert system for emergency evacuation and to warn staff, patients, and visitors when normal alarms are insufficient or non-functional.
The scope includes the supply of new, standards-compliant air horns with cabinets, installation at the designated site (St Mary’s District Hospital main gate), and ensuring the equipment meets specified standards such as sound output minimum of 110 dB at 1 meter. The installation must include all necessary mounting brackets and comply with relevant standards (SANS, ISO, OSHA).
