Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply, brand, and deliver recognition items for the Public Safety Department of the City of Johannesburg. The project aims to design artwork, produce branded recognition items, facilitate approval processes, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality promotional materials that include certificates, frames, clocks, and signage with departmental logos.

Scope

The scope encompasses the complete process from creative design to production and delivery of recognition items as specified in the project deliverables. It includes:

• Designing artwork, layout, and graphics with departmental logos provided by the Public Safety Department.
• Producing items such as certificate frames, acrylic holders, wall clocks, and picture frames in specified sizes and finishes.
• Submitting samples for approval before final production.
• Facilitating the approval of all designs and samples prior to manufacturing.
• Delivering the finished products to the designated address within the agreed timeframe.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the deliverables include:

• High-grade certificate frames with metallic finish (size A4, 210mm x 297mm, satin silver or brushed nickel), with clear glass or anti-reflective frontage, MDF backing, and hardware for wall mounting.
• Acrylic picture frame (size 8.5 x 11 inches, 21.6 x 27.9 cm), polished finish, rectangular shape, and solid pattern.
• Branded wall clocks (size 25 cm, silver color, compatible with inkjet or laser printers for branding).
• Samples must be submitted for approval before final production.

Skills Requirements

The successful tenderer must demonstrate:

• Creative design skills for artwork, layout, and branding.
• Technical capability to produce high-quality recognition items as per specifications.
• Experience in handling branded recognition items and familiarity with printing and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to facilitate design approval processes with departmental logos and branding.
• Compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
