Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply, fabricate, deliver, and install GMP-compliant stainless steel laboratory furniture for a pharmaceutical or food-grade laboratory operating at ISO Class 5 minimum. The furniture must meet strict hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards suitable for controlled environments such as GMP, HACCP, and pharmaceutical hygiene requirements.

Scope

The scope encompasses the design, manufacturing, supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of:

• Food-grade stainless steel laboratory benches, including window benches and central laboratory benches
• Drawer units with soft-close mechanisms
• Hygienic stainless steel sinks and associated drainage components
• GMP-grade taps and faucets (elbow-operated or sensor/knee-activated)
• All necessary installation, levelling, cleaning, and handover procedures

The furniture must be suitable for cleanroom environments, capable of withstanding frequent wet cleaning and chemical sanitization, and compliant with GMP, HACCP, and pharmaceutical hygiene standards.

Design & Material Specifications

• Use of food-grade 316L stainless steel for worktops, legs, frames, drawers, sinks, and taps
• Work surfaces with Ra ≤ 0.8 μm, mechanically polished
• Non-contact surfaces with Ra ≤ 1.2 μm
• Hollow, unsealed sections are not permitted
• Design to minimize particle generation and microbial harboring

Bench & Component Dimensions

• Window bench: 6500 mm length × 800 mm depth, height 900 mm ± 10 mm
• Central benches: 2800 mm length × 1200 mm depth, height 900 mm ± 10 mm

Component Specifications

• Worktop thickness: 2.0 mm solid sheet
• Under-shelf: 1.5 mm
• Drawer bodies: 1.2 mm
• Legs: Ø50 mm × 1.5 mm wall thickness
• Load capacity: Minimum 300 kg uniformly distributed load per bench

Additional Equipment

• Sinks: Hygienic design, welded bowl, size approximately 500 × 400 × 300 mm
• Taps: GMP-grade, either elbow-operated or sensor/knee-activated
• Levelling feet: Stainless steel, adjustable ±25 mm, hygienic design

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in designing and manufacturing GMP-compliant stainless steel laboratory furniture
• Ability to produce furniture suitable for cleanroom environments with strict hygiene standards
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and pharmaceutical hygiene requirements
• Capability to deliver detailed documentation, including Bill of Quantities, COA, Data Sheets, and Certificates
• Skilled in installation, site levelling, and final GMP cleaning procedures
• Experience in working within controlled environments and adhering to ISO Class 5 standards
