Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply Tattle Tape Security Strips for Knysna Public Libraries, ensuring the provision of security measures to prevent theft and enhance library security.

Scope

The scope includes the procurement and delivery of Tattle Tape Security Strips in specified quantities, compliant with relevant standards, to Knysna Public Libraries. The project involves providing the security strips as per the technical specifications, including installation and related services if required.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of Tattle Tape Security Strips in B2 boxes of R 1000’s.
• Compliance with relevant SANS standards, including SANS 1545-4: 2006.
• Items must be new, unused, and incorporate recent design and material improvements.
• Goods must be properly packed to prevent damage during transit.
• Delivery to be made in accordance with the specified contract conditions, including timely delivery and proper documentation.
• Suppliers may be required to provide installation, supervision, training, and maintenance services as part of incidental services.
• All goods must meet the specifications and quality standards outlined in the tender documents.

Skills Requirements

• Ability to supply security strips that meet technical and quality standards.
• Experience in handling and delivering security equipment within municipal or similar environments.
