Travel agency, tour operator, reservation service and related activities
Isibani seeks to appoint a Travel Management Company to administer and manage all travel services, accommodation-related requests, and travel activities as and when required by the client for the period ending 31 March 2025.
The Global Fund sub-recipients operate in the following regions:
City of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality
King Cetswayo Municipality
Ugu District Municipality
Buffalo City Municipality
Amathole District Municipality
Enhlazeni Local Municipality
City of Cape Town
eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality
Frances Baard District Municipality
City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality
Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality
The service provider should be able to provide services in all South African provinces. Furthermore, the service provider should also be able to provide services internationally
The service provider will be expected to provide the following services:
Reservations through an Online Booking Tool/System.
Booking services for:
Accommodation
Car rental and shuttle services
Flight tickets
Conferencing
After operating hours services (either accommodation or travel).
Invoicing system for monthly charges.
Generate automated reports.
The Travel Management Company must comply with Isibani travel policy and procedures, PFMA, and the Global Fund’s standards and regulations (including air travel, road transport, and accommodation) and manage all travellers’ profiles.
Most large tenders are composed of tasks in a number of different fields, and it is not always possible for a single company to cater for all of them, and therefore Joint Ventures and Consortia are formed to then submit a tender together.
Government tenders are also requiring the subcontracting of a percentage of the tender work, and the trouble is then finding Subcontractors to comply with the tender requirements
