Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure Traffic Personal Protective Clothing for Blouberg Municipality for the year 2025/2026. The procurement aims to supply a comprehensive range of safety and uniform apparel, including traffic uniforms, jackets, shirts, caps, belts, boots, shoes, socks, and related accessories, ensuring personnel are equipped with standardized, durable, and compliant protective clothing.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of various traffic safety uniforms and accessories as detailed in the item descriptions. This includes:

• Traffic combat trousers, step-out trousers, combat shirts, magnum shirts, winter jackets, jerseys, jump suits, reflective jackets, caps, belts, boots, shoes, socks, ties, bow ties, epaulettes, badges, skirts, high heels, pullover jerseys, whistles, ceremonial jackets, pantyhose, and other related accessories.
• All items must meet specified styles, colors, branding, and technical specifications outlined in the tender documents.
• Provision of samples for approval prior to bulk purchase.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify the standards and features for each item, including:

• Material composition (e.g., polyester/cotton blends, ripstop, leather, wool, acrylic, etc.).
• Design features such as pockets, epaulettes, reflective strips, adjustable buckles, and fastening mechanisms.
• Branding and embroidery of the Blouberg Traffic star logo and name tags on applicable items.
