Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure training services for the delivery of the official Veeam Backup & Replication v12.3 course. The training aims to enhance the skills of the Knysna Municipality ICT team in configuring, managing, and recovering data using Veeam solutions. The course will prepare participants to become Veeam Certified Engineers (VMCE) and enable them to effectively protect and manage data in a dynamic technical environment.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of a comprehensive Veeam Backup & Replication v12.3 training course aligned with the official Veeam curriculum.
• Delivery of training to three employees from the ICT department, with sessions conducted online via a live, certified instructor (Virtual Instructor Led format).
• Completion of the training within a 5-day period.
• Provision of practical labs to simulate real-world recovery scenarios.
• Issuance of certificates of attendance and VMCE v12 exam vouchers for each participant.
• Adherence to Veeam Authorized Education Center (Veeam AEC) standards, including having a Veeam Certified Trainer (VMCT) holding VMCE v12 certification.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the training include:

• Training must cover all critical topics of the official Veeam Curriculum for v12.3.
• Training must be conducted in English.
• The course must be delivered online with a live, certified instructor (Virtual Instructor Led format).
• The provider must supply instructor credentials and demonstrate experience.
• Provision of VMCE v12 exam vouchers for each participant.
• The training provider must be a Veeam Authorized Education Center or an official Veeam Training Partner.
• The trainer must hold VMCE v12 certification and be a Veeam Certified Trainer (VMCT).
• The training must include practical labs and scenario-based exercises to promote situational resiliency.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from the training provider include:

• Official authorization as a Veeam Education Center or recognized Veeam Training Partner.
• Certified trainers with VMCE v12 certification and VMCT credentials.
• Proven experience in delivering online, instructor-led technical training on Veeam Backup & Replication solutions.
• Ability to provide comprehensive practical labs and scenario-based exercises.
• Capability to issue official certificates of attendance and VMCE v12 exam vouchers.
• Compliance with Veeam’s training standards and quality assurance processes.
