Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider to deliver cleaning services at Tweespruit Magistrate Office for a period of 36 months. The contract aims to ensure the provision of comprehensive cleaning, maintenance, and related services to maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe environment within the specified premises.

Scope

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to:

• Provision of cleaning services across all designated areas within the Tweespruit Magistrate Office, including offices, meeting rooms, hallways, toilets, kitchens, parking areas, and other specified spaces.
• Cleaning of floors, carpets, windows (including high-rise windows), furniture, interior walls, ceilings, stairs, toilets, ablutions, and kitchen areas.
• Removal of rubbish and waste disposal.
• Supply of all necessary cleaning equipment, machinery, consumables, and protective gear.
• Adherence to specified cleaning frequencies and standards as detailed in the technical specifications.
• Compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the contract duration.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements encompass:

• Provision of cleaning services as per the detailed scope of work, including dusting, window cleaning (including high windows), floor maintenance, furniture cleaning, and sanitation of toilets and kitchens.
• Use of approved, SABS-certified cleaning chemicals and materials that are environmentally friendly and safe for users.
• Supply and maintenance of industrial-grade cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, high-rise window cleaning tools, and carpet cleaning machinery.
• Adherence to specified cleaning schedules, including daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
• Implementation of health and safety protocols, including PPE for staff, safe handling of chemicals, and compliance with OHS Act requirements.
• Provision of supervision, quality control, and reporting mechanisms to ensure service standards are met.
• Participation in site inspections and compliance with the Department’s safety and security regulations.

Skills and Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Experience in providing cleaning services to government or similar institutional facilities for a minimum of [specify years if available].
• Qualified and trained cleaning personnel with knowledge of industrial cleaning standards and safety procedures.
• Capability to operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment and machinery.

• Compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including tax compliance, BBBEE status, and occupational health and safety standards.
