Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider to deliver cleaning services at Tweespruit Magistrate Office for a period of 36 months, ensuring the maintenance of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in accordance with specified requirements and legal obligations.

Scope

The scope encompasses comprehensive cleaning services at the Tweespruit Magistrate Office, including but not limited to dusting, window cleaning (including high-rise windows), floor maintenance, cleaning of toilets, kitchens, offices, meeting rooms, corridors, parking areas, and other specified areas. The contractor is responsible for supplying all necessary labour, equipment, cleaning materials, and safety gear, and ensuring the work is performed to the standards outlined in the specifications and service level agreement.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of cleaning services over 36 months as per the specifications, including daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
• Supply and maintenance of all cleaning equipment and consumables, including high-rise window cleaning tools, carpet washing machinery, and safety equipment.
• Adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including risk assessments, PPE provision, and compliance with relevant legislation.
• Implementation of quality control measures, including inspections, reporting, and corrective actions.
• Participation in site inspections and adherence to specified service times.
• Provision of trained and qualified personnel, with proper identification and conduct.
• Compliance with labour laws, minimum wages, BBBEE requirements, and other statutory obligations.
• Submission of all required documentation, including project disclosures, resolutions, and compliance certificates.

Skills Requirements

• Experience in providing cleaning services for government or similar institutional facilities.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards applicable to cleaning operations.
• Ability to operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment, including high-rise window washers and carpet cleaning machinery.
• Competence in managing and supervising cleaning staff, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
• Understanding of legal and regulatory compliance related to employment, safety, and environmental management.
• Capacity to prepare and submit reports, documentation, and compliance certificates as required.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with department representatives and site personnel.
