Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure and supply 1250 litres of 95 unleaded petrol fuel, stored in 25-litre containers, for use in hydraulic machine units across all fire stations managed by Vhembe District Municipality.

Scope

The scope includes the provision of:

• Supply of 1250 litres of 95 unleaded petrol fuel.
• Delivery in 25-litre containers.
• Distribution to all fire stations within the district.

The supply must meet the specified quantity and quality standards, and be available for immediate use at the designated fire stations.

Technical Requirements

• Fuel must be 95 octane unleaded petrol.
• Containers should be 25 litres each, suitable for safe storage and handling.
• Delivery must adhere to the specified quantity of 1250 litres.
• Suppliers must provide proof of compliance with relevant tax and municipal regulations.
• All documentation, including CSD reports, tax clearance, and company registration, must be submitted with the quotation.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

• Service providers must demonstrate compliance with procurement policies, evaluated through an 80/20 point scoring system.
• Bidder’s submission should include:
  • CSD Summary report
  • Tax Clearance Certificate or compliance letter
  • Company registration certificate
  • Proof of purchase of tender document
  • Municipal account clearance or a letter from a traditional authority confirming no arrears
• Preference points are allocated based on specific goals such as HDI status, locality, youth, women, and disability status, requiring relevant verification documents like IDs, medical certificates, or CSD reports.
• Bidder’s ability to meet administrative and technical criteria as per municipal procurement policies is essential.
