Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure Ward Hostess services for GJGM Hospital, ensuring professional, courteous, and hygienic patient and ward support. The services aim to support hospital operations by providing trained staff to assist with patient meals, ward cleanliness, and patient interaction, thereby enhancing patient care and hospital hygiene standards.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of Ward Hostess services at GJGM Hospital for a contract period of 6 months.
• Deployment of 10 staff members divided into day and night shifts:
  • Day shift (06h00 to 18h00): 6 staff members including a supervisor.
  • Night shift (18h00 to 06h00): 4 staff members.
• Responsibilities include ward cleaning, patient meal preparation and serving, waste disposal, and maintaining hygiene standards.
• Supervision and replacement staffing for leaves and emergencies.
• Provision of uniforms and PPE for staff.
• Compliance with OH&S and Basic Conditions of Employment Act.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify:

• Provision of trained ward hostesses with relevant experience.
• Adherence to specified working hours and shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Implementation of hygiene and safety standards, including PPE and uniforms.
• Supervision by qualified personnel with at least 3 years of relevant experience and a senior certificate.
• Regular site visits by senior representatives.
• Compliance with hospital policies on hygiene, safety, and patient interaction.
• Provision of necessary cleaning, serving, and waste disposal equipment.
