Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure 6 x 65-seater buses to be used for the King Cetshwayo Games scheduled to be held on 18 October 2025 at Eshowe. The aim is to ensure adequate transportation arrangements for the event, meeting the specified technical and logistical requirements.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes the supply and delivery of six 65-seater buses to the Supply Chain Management Unit at the specified delivery address in Richards. The buses will be used for transportation routes associated with the King Cetshwayo Games, with a required delivery period prior to the event date.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of 6 buses, each with a seating capacity of 65.
• Buses must be suitable for transportation routes as detailed in the route descriptions.
• Delivery to the specified address: Supply Chain Management Unit, End of Betastraal, Alton, Richards.
• All alterations to quotations must be signed by the bidder.
• Price increases after submission will not be approved.
• Suppliers must be registered with the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and provide their CSD number.
• Provide a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

• Bidder must be registered with the Central Suppliers Database (CSD).
• Bidder must submit a valid Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
• Completion of RFQ in black ink; quotations in pencil will be rejected.
• All alterations must be signed by the bidder to be valid.
• Bidder’s representative must sign the declaration of correctness of information supplied.
• Bidder must demonstrate compliance with preferential procurement points, including ownership and management by South Africans, women, youth, disabled persons, and residents of rural areas and townships.
• Technical competence to supply and deliver buses as per specifications and route requirements.
