The goal is to propose actionable solutions to organize the awards at a standard comparable to other premium award ceremonies in South Africa, elevating the status and recognition of SANParks awards, including the CEO Awards. • Assessing recognition and awards programs of comparable organizations.
  • Engaging with stakeholders, including past adjudication committees, management systems, and employee representatives.
  • Providing recommendations for awards management, governance, and transformation objectives.
  • Designing a recognition framework aligned with SANParks’ strategic priorities.
  • Developing criteria, scoring principles, and supporting guidelines for award categories.
  • Delivering physical workshops (travel and accommodation costs covered by SANParks).
  • Producing a comprehensive document with current categories, criteria, guidelines, and a dummy event program based on a 2 to 2.5-hour schedule.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the facilitator include:

  • Providing a company profile or individual professional profile demonstrating at least 10 years’ experience in facilitation, organizational development, or review of awards frameworks.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in facilitation or awards review within the public or private sector.
  • Submitting at least five reference letters from recent projects (past three years) relevant to the scope.
  • Providing two recent reports (in PDF format) demonstrating assessment and action plan development.
  • Developing a detailed awards framework, criteria, and event program based on environmental trends and best practices.
  • Participating in workshops and delivering a comprehensive report with recommendations.

Skills Requirements

  • Extensive facilitation skills with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in organizational development or awards review.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess current award frameworks and develop innovative, actionable recommendations.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, including past adjudication committees and management teams.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging workshops and develop event programs.

Joint Ventures, Consortia and Subcontracting:

Most large tenders are composed of tasks in a number of different fields, and it is not always possible for a single company to cater for all of them, and therefore Joint Ventures and Consortia are formed to then submit a tender together.

Government tenders are also requiring the subcontracting of a percentage of the tender work, and the trouble is then finding Subcontractors to comply with the tender requirements

To assist companies with finding tender partners and subcontractors, you can now submit your contact details and company information on this page, so other interested parties can contact you for purposes of forming Joint Ventures and subcontracting

You will need to supply your details on every tender you are interested in tendering for. For this you need an active Business Listing - Register and Login at My Account to create a Business Listing

NOTE: This is not a tender application form, it is meant to facilitate the meeting of partners to form a Joint Venture or Subcontractor relationship for this tender only
