The primary objective of the tender is to appoint a service provider responsible for the facility management, letting, general management, and administrative obligations associated with the Johannesburg International Transport Interchange (JITI). The aim is to ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and revenue generation of the property, which includes various transport and commercial facilities, over a period not exceeding 9 years and 11 months.

The property consists of two portions: Portion 27 of Farm Johannesburg 91 Ir and the adjacent Erf 603 Newtown Ext 1, both owned by the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality.
