Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider responsible for the collection of water and electricity meter readings across all areas within Merafong City Local Municipality. The contract duration is set for a period of three years.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Collection of water and electricity meter readings for all areas within Merafong City Local Municipality.
• Provision of accurate and timely data for billing and record-keeping purposes.
• Service provision over a three-year period, ensuring continuous and reliable meter reading collection.

Technical Requirements

Bid submissions must include:

• Proof of payment for bid document purchase (non-refundable fee of R 1,322.62 VAT inclusive).
• Recent (not older than 3 months) report from the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Confirmation that the bidder's municipal account is not owing for more than 90 days or, if not in the bidder's name, a lease agreement and proof of payment for the last three months.
• Certified copies of identity documents for all shareholders/owners/partners registered on the CK forms.
