Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider to deliver comprehensive Employee Wellness Programme services to BANKSETA's 112 employees. The aim is to ensure the continuation of a confidential and effective wellness service that addresses personal, social, and work-related issues impacting employee performance, productivity, and absenteeism. The programme seeks to promote a healthier, more engaged workforce aligned with BANKSETA’s HR strategy and transformation goals.

Scope

The scope of work encompasses the provision of employee wellness services over a period of three (3) financial years. Key components include:

• Delivery of confidential employee assistance and guidance services.
• Implementation of an HIV/AIDS management programme in partnership with employees' medical aid schemes, including prevention, treatment, care, and support.
• Health promotion, awareness, and education initiatives.
• Stress management, retirement planning, and financial fitness interventions.
• Organizing events and activities related to wellness during the contract period.

The services must support employees in addressing personal and social problems, contributing to improved productivity and reduced absenteeism.

Technical / Functional Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate:

• Provision of three (3) signed reference letters confirming experience in implementing employee wellness or assistance programmes.
• A minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in delivering employee wellness services.
• Experience with clients where similar services have been provided for at least three years, including details of the client, scope of service, contract duration, and contact information.
• Compliance with all mandatory submission requirements, including registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD), submission of fully completed and signed returnable forms (e.g., SBD 4, SBD 6.1), and adherence to specifications.
• Provision of references and evidence supporting experience and capability to deliver the scope of work.

Skills Requirements

The successful service provider must possess:

• Expertise in employee wellness and assistance programmes, including HIV/AIDS management, health promotion, and psychosocial support.
• Strong project management skills to coordinate activities over three years, including event organization and programme implementation.
• Ability to deliver confidential, professional, and culturally sensitive services to a diverse workforce.
• Experience in developing and implementing health and wellness interventions aligned with organizational HR strategies.
• Capacity to provide ongoing support, monitoring, and reporting on programme effectiveness.
